The Huntsville Chapter of TRA meets monthly on the second Tuesday, 11:30 AM at Barnhill's Buffet, 3801 University Drive in Huntsville, Alabama 35816. Please do not call Barnhill's about our meetings. Payment is made upon entering and there is a senior discount. Do not mention the word "group" as they are not privy to our meeting, just proceed to the front side where we usually meet.
The retirees of TRW, primarily TRW Space and Electronics Group (TRW Space and Defense Sector), founded an association known as TRA (TRW Retirees Association). The official name of the organization was shortened to TRA in 2003.
Because TRW has merged with Northrop Grumman, TRA now invites retirees from Northrop Grumman Space Technology and Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. TRA now stands for "The Retirees Association."
The Huntsville Chapter of TRA was formed in September 2002. We serve retirees of TRW and of Northrop-Grumman and its community including Westinghouse, BDM and retirees of the Northrop-Grumman community who later moved to Huntsville. Anyone is welcome and there is no fee nor RSVP required.
